While attending the University of California, Irvine, Keeley studied art and social psychology. Upon completion of her degree she started working as an Events Manager responsible for the designs and murals for activities, and the marketing of those events. |

Aging family members provided the opportunity for relocation to the Southern Region of the US. It was here she met her husband, who was handcrafting metal furnishings and importing home accessories. She began applying the decorative finishes. |

Through a fellow artisan and mentor, she was introduced to SALI (Stencil Artisans League Inc.) now IDAL (International Decorative Artisans League), www.decorativeartisans.org, and the support of international artists and decorative painters. She has had the good fortune to study under many inspirational teachers.
